House Guests Part 3

The house guests keep coming!

Wasp:  These shots were taken on a window, so it was difficult to pick up great detail.

Im not sure why, but I think this looks like a Star Wars moth.  It looks like it has on a helmet.

Note the size of the red pouch under his throat.  This one was flapping in the wind.

Unidentified little guy.

The tail looks like pincers up close, but when you see it running across the floor, they raise up in the air.  I think they are natures way of making this guy look tougher than it really is.

Figuring it out… As I haven’t squished any of these animals if they were in the house.

  1. Yep, I agree. The last one was an earwig. We have them here in Ottawa, Canada and they are one of my least favourite house guests…especially when they decide to hang out in my coffee maker! I totally agree with you… there is something Star Warsy about that moth- I think that one was pretty cool!

    • Thanks for the confirmation on the earwig. Its fun figuring out what these things are. Its hard to look up things on the internet with only visual clues. The moth was really cool looking.

    • Hey Kris. Ive only lived here for 5 months, so the word usual is not in my vocabulary yet. But, it seems like I keep getting different ones as well as the usual freeloading friends!
